Welcome to the official website of the Eta Kappa Chapter of Kappa Kappa Kappa, Inc., better known as Avon Tri Kappa. Tri Kappa is a unique philanthropic organization existing only within the boundaries of the State of Indiana. Seven young ladies met at the Girls' Classical School of Indianapolis and founded the sorority in February, 1901. Avon Tri Kappa was formed in 2006 by 23 women who identified a need to develop a chapter in their home community.

SCHOLARSHIP
The 2024-2025 Avon Tri Kappa Scholarship Application is now open. THE DEADLINE TO APPLY IS APRIL 19, 2025 @11:59PM. Avon Tri Kappa supports the educational aspirations of future leaders going on to higher education. We give scholarships to graduating seniors from Avon-Washington Township every year and provide financial support to a number of community organizations and events.

THE AVON TRI KAPPA 2025 COMMUNITY GRANT APPLICATION IS NOW CLOSED
Eligibility and Grant Criteria
To be eligible for consideration organizations must be a local nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that primarily serves the residents of Avon, Indiana or nearby Hendricks County areas. Funding must be used to support services or projects that
• enhance the health and welfare of the community, or
• cultivate local arts, culture or literary programs, or
• advance local learning and education opportunities.
Funds are expected to be substantially expended within 12 months of award and will not be approved to provide legal or general operational expenses, finance fundraising or deficits, or for re-granting to other nonprofits. Avon Tri Kappa will consider the needs addressed in the proposal, the capability of the applying organization to achieve desired results, and the extent and sources of other funds being raised.
Avon Tri Kappa has discretion to determine which applying organizations receive funding, as well as the number and amount of grants. Total 2025 funding is approximately up to $10,000.
